At E8, we are committed to providing a safe, healthy and productive working environment and to safeguarding the health, safety and welfare of all those affected by its operations. This includes ensuring that everyone working on our projects or in our offices is fit to carry out their jobs safely and effectively in a working environment which is free from alcohol and drug misuse.

Purpose and scope
This statement sets out how we manage intoxication and suspicions of taking / dealing drugs. It additionally demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that any person unfit, either through the consumption of alcohol or the use of drugs, is prevented from working, where the continuation of that person working would adversely affect the safety of themselves, their colleagues and other people in their surroundings, the operation of any tools / machineries or present an unacceptable image of the company.
